Our adult classes lay the foundation for transformation by equipping, teaching and training adults to live biblically. These classes also are a great way to connect with other believers on Sunday mornings.

There are many classes that can help you take the next step in your spiritual journey. Below is a description of each. These classes beginDec. 7and continue through Feb. 22.

Human Commitment
People have varying levels of commitment to all kinds of things. This fact is very useful, because it reveals where a person’s heart truly lies. Are we committed to the right things? Come join us as we look at the commitment of individuals whose names are well-known in the Bible and other people who have only “bit” roles. Nevertheless, all roles are important in accomplishing God’s redemptive plan.

Heaven and Hell
This study will examine biblical doctrines on the most popular and the most unpopular of all Christian teachings – heaven on one hand, and hell on the other. Many of today’s modern churches promote the glory of heaven while ignoring or glossing over the reality of hell. It is vitally important for Christians to know what the Bible says about both.

The Book of Nehemiah
Nehemiah was a man used by God to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem. However, the book is about much more than rebuilding a wall. It is a study of God drawing His people back to Him through service. It is a study in overcoming obstacles and walking in faith. It is a study in growing in faith and the character of God. It is a book that is alive with lessons relevant for today! Join us!

This session we will search the Word for the lessons that are to be learned through the Old Testament saints from the earliest times.

Starting Point
Join us, beginning Sunday, Dec. 7, for the next session of Starting Point, a small group format where together we will discover:
• that the Bible can be understood & what it is
• that the Bible is reliable and can be trusted
• how to remove hindrances to reading and getting into the Bible
• some answers to those questions that have been running through your mind
We will also take a trip through the Bible as we discover God’s true character revealed through the lives of some people in the Bible. Along the way, we will discover things about ourselves, too.

Practical Life Lessons
If you would like to study God's word and enjoy Christian fellowship, in a friendly environment, you would be welcome to join us. The Bible says, "…scripture is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work."

Heaven, Randy Alcorn
What makes Christmas so exciting for children? Why does a bride look forward to her wedding day? The answer: anticipation! When your life as a believer seems tedious or lackluster you could use a good dose of anticipation. A study of heaven will do just that for you. Enjoy life here and now more because of the added sparkle of the promises of glory just around the corner.

Practical Life Lessons
This class is a life-challenging video series entitled, “It Came from Within” by Andy Stanley, senior pastor of North Point Church in Atlanta. After each video there will be a time of group discussion based on these teachings and biblical accounts. The class is for those in their 20s and 30s and meets across the parking lot at Kimmie’s Kreations & Johnnie’s Java. Come join us as we journey together and discover what God wants us to find and learn from in our everyday lives.
