Part-Time Custodian (We are no longer looking for additional applicants for this position)

Otterbein Church is looking for a person (or maybe two) who can help with custodial work on our campus.  This is a part-time position with flexible hours.  The position may require periodic weekend (primarily Saturday) work when special events (weddings, funerals, etc.) are held at the church in preparation for our Sunday morning services.

 

Worship Service Producer

Otterbein Church is looking for a person who will serve as the Worship Service Producer on Sunday mornings and help coordinate our Sunday morning Tech Team volunteers (computer, video, lighting). The ideal person is a quick learner, able to lead others, gives attention to detail, enjoys working with technology, has strong communication skills, and desires to help create an environment where people can worship and engage with God.  The position is part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) and requires availability on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.

 

Videographer

Otterbein Church is looking for a person who loves digital storytelling and is experienced and/or has training in videography.  The position will help oversee all aspects of video production including the preparation of the “script,”, scheduling the video shoot, shooting the video and editing it for presentation.  Video announcements, testimonies, baptism testimonies, sermon intros, and videos for social media are examples of the kinds of videos that will be produced.  Applicants need to be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and the use of DSLR cameras.  Applicants should have knowledge of color correcting, grading, and lighting for video production.  The position could be part-time or full-time depending on availability, ability to assist with other areas of ministry (social media, graphic arts, website design, etc.).

 

Graphic Arts

Otterbein Church is looking for a person who is creative and is experienced and/or has training as a graphic artist.  The position will design and create graphics for use in the worship services, lobby TV announcements, weekly bulletin, website, social media, print publications, and for ministry programs.  Applicants need to understand typography and be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (photoshop, illustrator, etc.). The ideal candidate will also assist with the production of the weekly bulletin and other printed materials and should have strong grammar and writing skills.  The position could be part-time or full-time depending on availability, ability to assist with other areas of ministry (social media, videography, website design, etc.).  If the position is part-time, the person needs to be available to work on Thursday and Friday.
