MAY 19 - FORGIVE TO BE FORGIVEN

We will conclude the UPSIDE DOWN LIVING series with the message FORGIVE TO BE FORGIVEN this week. Sunday's message will focus on on Jesus' words "if you refuse to forgive others, your Father (God) will not forgive your sins."  It is clear Jesus wants us to understand the importance of forgiving others and the consequences of not forgiving.  But what does it really mean to forgive?  In Sunday's message, Pastor Mike will help us understand better what true forgiveness looks like and why forgiveness doesn't need to be a difficult as most people make it. We hope you will join us!

Sunday worship services are at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. Children ministries for birth–grade 5 meet during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Nursery is available at all services. Our youth program meets at 9:30 in the Youth building (white building).

All Services take place in our new worship center (912 South Potomac Street, Waynesboro, PA  17268).

Welcome to Otterbein

We know going to church for the first time can be a little awkward and even scary—especially if you don’t know anyone. We want to assure you that we will do everything we can to make your visit with us a positive one. We encourage you to stop at GUEST CENTRAL in the church lobby where a helpful volunteer will answer questions you have and provide an overview of our church programs. Greeters and ushers are available to answer questions you might have. Directional signs will point you toward our nursery, classrooms and worship center. We welcome guests, and our church wants to help you have a good first-time experience.

practical messages

We understand that one of the biggest criticisms of the church is that the sermons are boring and not very helpful. Our pastors try very hard to make sure that the sermons don’t just teach about the Bible, but that they also talk about how to put into practice what the Bible says. We use various forms of media to help explain the Bible, and outlines of the messages are provided every week so you can take notes and think more about the teaching in the messages after you leave the church.
