SUNDAY'S MESSAGE:
JESUS' DESIRE FOR HIS CHURCH

Senior Pastor Mike Newman continues the THIS IS US series on Sunday with the message JESUS' DESIRE FOR HIS CHURCH.  The Church is Jesus' idea and creation and there are things He wants to see His Church do.  In Sunday's message, Pastor Mike will help us explore several of the key things Jesus desires for His Church and talk about what we are doing to be faithful to accomplish those things at Otterbein.  We will also spend some time visiting with one of our Global partners who are doing amazing work in the nation of Nepal.  We look forward to seeing you!

Sunday's services will meet in our new Worship Center and children's space (912 South Potomac Street). Services are at 8, 9:30 & 11 a.m. All children, birth–grade 5 will meet in the same building as the adults at 9:30 & 11. Nursery is available at all services. Our youth program will meet at 9:30 in the Youth building (white building).

Welcome to Otterbein

We know going to church for the first time can be a little awkward and even scary—especially if you don’t know anyone. We want to assure you that we will do everything we can to make your visit with us a positive one. We encourage you to stop at GUEST CENTRAL in the church lobby where a helpful volunteer will answer questions you have and provide an overview of our church programs. Greeters and ushers are available to answer questions you might have. Directional signs will point you toward our nursery, classrooms and worship center. We welcome guests, and our church wants to help you have a good first-time experience.

practical messages

We understand that one of the biggest criticisms of the church is that the sermons are boring and not very helpful. Our pastors try very hard to make sure that the sermons don’t just teach about the Bible, but that they also talk about how to put into practice what the Bible says. We use various forms of media to help explain the Bible, and outlines of the messages are provided every week so you can take notes and think more about the teaching in the messages after you leave the church.
