Volunteer Opportunities

Otterbein Church has many opportunities for people to serve others. In fact, we believe that every person who attends Otterbein Church should be involved in at least one ministry of the church where he/she is actively serving others. In 1 Corinthians 12:27 we read, “Now all of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.” A healthy church is a place where every person does his/her part and serves one another.

It is also true that we cannot mature into a fully developed reproducing disciple of Jesus Christ without serving in a ministry. One of the seven qualities of a mature reproducing disciple of Jesus Christ that we have identified from the Bible is that they serve others. We believe that God has provided each follower of Jesus Christ with a unique SHAPE (Spiritual Gift, Hear/Passion, Abilities, Personality and Experiences) and that He wants us to use that SHAPE to serve others and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

In the future we will list the many different opportunities for you to serve within the church.
