Welty Road Relocation - Community Recreation Park
The Otterbein Church Community Recreation Park is Phase 1 of our relocation project on Welty Road. This phase of our project includes excavating about 1/3 of the site to grade and installing a swale along the entire length of Welty Road. The plan also includes the building of a pavilion, storage/restroom/concession building, softball field, youth league baseball field, football/soccer field, airsoft/paintball field, walking trail, and children’s play area.

The Waynesboro Youth League will be using the youth league baseball field beginning in the Spring of 2013.
While the playing fields will not be available for use until 2012 to allow time for the grass to mature, we are hopeful that some of the other areas of the site will be available for use later in 2012.
